Coco Chanel

Coco Chanel was a fashion designer born in August 19 1883. She died in ....Her story can better be understood as a rags to riches story. After her mother died, her father who was a peddler took her to the orphanage home. She was taught by the nuns in the orphanage home how to sew. Her career started from learning how to sew. She started out selling hats in 1910 at Paris Rue Cambon, then continued by adding stores Deauville and Biarritiz and began making clothes. In 1920s, she expanded her growing business. She launched her perfume Chanel No. 5, which was the first ever to feature a designer's name. In 1925, she introduced suits with collarless jackets and well-fitted skirts.
